I did exactly this tour last Sunday; it's practically without snow fields except for a few steps on snow (nothing dangerous) towards the saddle.

The condition of the path through Repov kot was usual, nothing dangerous for me.

One more from Tuesday before the shift. Now anyway the question when we'll hike here again, or how it is with starting points and paths...mrk pogled

This Repov kot... I read about those dangerous slabs to cross; last time I wanted to go on this path but didn't dare because of everything written. From the pictures I found on the net, it looks like those slabs are cca 2 meters and it hangs a bit.
What is the actual state of this thing? Do you maybe have a photo?

Look at the post in this thread by user "skala123" from

I went across it 2-3 times, nothing bad - only be careful not to stumble, because with a bit of bad luck it can end unpleasantly.

In dry rock (and soles) it's no problem for you.
In wet, better stay homenasmeh

Regarding slabs same as Tone, in dry nothing special, in wet no desire to go over.

More starting points... but significantly more walking. Road from quarry onwards no more...

Thanks everyone for the answers... For the visit, we'll really have to wait some more, disaster with the road too. Even if it pulled me to those parts now, I was just thinking that I actually don't know how to get there nasmeh From Logarska probably not, since it's not accessible (or is it?), likewise from Stahovica not, from Podvežak also not, because probably no road is accessible...

Well, realistically I don't even need to go there. But I was just hypothetically thinking that that end is now cut off from the world, if one follows the instructions and bans that are currently in force...

Realistically, you can't get to K. Bistrica by car. The bridge in Stahovica is down (you can go around via Mekinje), and the road from the quarry onwards is destroyed. This rules out the usual access to Planjava via Presedljaj for example. Then you have the option from Logarska, which you can only reach via Pavlic, maybe via Velika Planina. So yes. But... I don't know about you and others, but I really don't feel like hiking near areas where people and whole communities are left (almost) without everything (homes, memories, cars, roads, bridges...). From the Ljubno-Luce road for example nothing is left at the turnoff for Raduha, and the house nearby neither.

Well. That's how it is now - as horrible as it all is, the nature of things is that this will quiet down in a couple days or week. And what then? Those who suffered serious damage will quietly and far from media eyes slowly rebuild and start anew, the rest of us will return to normal and slowly forget. And yes, then us hikers will slowly come to see how it is in Kamniška Bistrica or Savinja valley. And I'd dare say the locals will still be happy if someone comes to see them and leaves a euro in their inns and huts.
Yes, but it's proper that those of us who suffered no damage help out somehow. I've already hinted at something, I'll do more. As long as it's still fresh in our minds.

You can get to many places from Jezersko, the road there is passable.

That occurred to me too - that the ramp at Jezersko is probably quietly smirking now, because there'll be a bigger rush there.

Is the access to Podvežak highland from the Kamnik side (past Podvolovljek) already ok or passable?
