18.09.2018. Mrzla gora Really the toughest, most strenuous and also psychologically extremely hard ascent... But despite that and the fact that there are very few pegs and cables I think that with good preparation it is an accessible mountain for everyone... but caution is never enough because it is really very exposed

You're welcome, and I wish you a beautiful day! (welcome and I wish a nice day) Note: I congratulated him in Hungarian, then he thanked me. Seems polite to me that way, because he tries hard with Slovenian, which like Hungarian, isn't an easy language for a foreigner.

Ugh, again this stupid arguing Read ALL that's written in these posts - don't you see he replied to me in Hungarian I didn't write he's a Hungarian citizen. He's from Varaždin, right. Check his trip descriptions on his profile, and conclude.

In this forum there are many frustrated people who cannot respond normally to an ordinary question. Well, congratulations to Marx and keep it up!

Many frustrated people on this forum have already provoked in a similar way, so I had that feeling this time too. If I had written: "Is he Hungarian?" my response would have been without the first two sentences. To the clever question "Who is the Hungarian here?" I reacted as I did. Let there be peace and best regards to both, to you and Marx

The guys gave me a great idea for today's tour - Mrzla gora through (Hudi) Prask... already before Okrešelj I turned into the gully that directly continues to Prask up top, and I must say this lower part is even prettier than the gully above... But the beautiful passages at the top under the ridge are a real soul walk.

Now I saw the discussion - the truth is that by origin I am really Hungarian, even my surname is Hungarian (Honjak in Hungarian means From the homeland)... Gorska planika, thanks for the picture! Next time I go up to Mrzla gora I'll go through hudi prask then down the official path... and that next year. Question - if Mrzla gora is the most difficult ascent in KSA, which is the second hardest? Rinke from Mrzli dol?

Marx, based on the first sentence you wrote on 19.9., I don't recommend Hudi prask to you. Unless of course it was just an emotional note, but you already have experience with such pathless routes. The initial jump into Hudi prask requires quite a bit of that kind of experience.

Today the mists on the ascent to the summit also had their charm. It's a beautiful mountain, actually one of the most beautiful for me. I counted ten visitors... quite a lot for Mrzla gora. Best

Bravo garmont. This mountain is also my favorite among all KSA. I'll especially remember my first visit there, when unfortunately I gave up before the western subpeak (year 2006). I'm not ashamed to admit that back then this was too big a bite for me and I quit out of fear. I thought that wall looking like "fire wall" was simply too much for me. Two years later I was a bit more "fit", and it went easily, but still with respect and fear. But feelings are always nice when you're on top of this beauty. Unfortunately this year I couldn't manage to visit it again (recurrence of old knee injury, so I train only short tours - to Donačka gora), so have to wait till next year. Safe steps everyone.

On Saturday I did it too, since it's written like this here I told myself it's now high time to see it myself. @Garmont, were you that group of three guys who asked me a bit after Okrešelj where to go to Mrzla gora? My impression: for someone used to it of course not problematic. Even in the upper 'harder' part it's not much harder than below in my opinion, except psychologically because it's not secured. Even the looseness is less up there. Descent isn't hard either if we've already reached the top, the problem is only that gully right above the last anchor (or first on descent), where you really have to watch for scree and then at a few spots. On descent looseness bugs more than on ascent. The path could be marked a bit better on descent! In ascent direction it's OK.

No, VanSims, we weren't the right ones. I found the "path" to Mrzla gora years ago already...
