Hello hikers,
does anyone have by chance current information from the path to Kamniško Sedlo. I would set off up with company around May 1st and would appreciate any info or pictures. Fitness is no issue for me, but looking mainly at other hikers, among them 3 girls, and really don't want the path to be too hard for them. Especially due to snow and such.

I was on this path on 6.4. Path itself from KB to Pastirji ok... A bit above them snow starts but no problems (there was one avalanche danger, but surely triggered by now). Hut closed that day (notice already at KB) so we enjoyed chatting with other guests right in winter room. Back I used small crampons, husband not (advantage in body weight). Wish you luck and safe path ,M

Today I was up. In upper scree part still some snow but not much left. Went without crampons. Everyone should judge for themselves about extra gear (Crampons, ice axe).

Tomorrow I'm going up and where do you park the car? I've read that the road to Jermance is closed for public traffic. Only parking at the house in Kamniška Bistrica is left for me. Haven't been in these parts for a long time

I almost always park at the hut in Kamniška Bistrica.
They say it's really closed. But people still drive to Jermance.

Or parking spot at start of ascent to KS cable car, right after that is no traffic sign, just gotta be early enough. Occasionally collectors drag up and hand out fines

Road ain't closed, it's drivable to Jermanca, no collectors, that's just talk, let whoever got fined say

Last time, when I went to Kamniški dedec, I talked with a local at the hunting hut, who says both no-driving signs on this road are set illegally. He even said he'd remove them himself.

Does Wisiakova still have any snow towards Planjava? If anyone has some info or pic?
