Good that the rest is 2015.... But what about next year?

The main thing is to have gear, as if you don't.

SamoK - do you think all alpinists, mountaineers and mountain rescuers have safety gear year 2015? Probably not and they don't worry too much about it. There are many things more important than year 2015.

Last week I was snooping in Hervis, and I saw on a plastic mannequin harness and Mammut via ferrata set. No price marked, seller told me helmet was in the set but sold separately by accident.
Since I'm a good soul I offered to buy what's left of the set for half price (65 eur), and they agreed.

Well, if anyone has a spare helmet... nasmeh

Tolminc, I recommend this one, at least it's elastic, for easier handling with it in via ferrata. Otherwise, this harness is more or less for protected paths. My opinion

For such a gnar and that size, you have nothing to lose. But it's good to try it before, loaded. And also, it's good to know what you'll use it for.

The lower one doesn't have a helmet, which comes in handy more often than SVK.
PS
At Decathlon.... you can assemble a better set for a lower price.

Sitback, I see you haven't even made the most basic choice of what type of climbing harness you'll get. confused Maybe this will help you decide: Climbing harnesses - Still the upper part of the harness, for whom and why?, there are more sources on the web on this topic. I was faced with this dilemma too, and followed the majority and chose the most basic option, sit harness. Once you decide on the type of harness, you can help with final choice by looking at climbing harness tests, there are quite a few online, and user reviews and ratings. There are differences between harnesses in weight, comfort, adjustability of gear loops, number of gear loops... and of course price. I ended up choosing Petzl Corax, which I got from SportsDirect.com from England with 50% discount for ridiculous 25 eur, and no shipping because I ordered via their mobile app.

A few days ago I went shopping and with the seller's help chose the following gear: helmet, harness and via ferrata set. With discounts the whole thing cost 147€.
Today I tested the gear on the protected path Lisca, which is short but demanding.

Maybe you could have bought better, especially the SVK, but let's leave it now. What's done is done. Above all, now learn well how to use SVK so you don't become part of the black statistics. Different carabiner types clip differently on horizontal cables (in your case from bottom up so gates are on the outside, away from the wall), on vertical ones always each from the other side. As long as no slip or fall happens, it's the same, but if it does, it can be decisive. Second rule is always clip both strands (that's where Y system differs from old V system, which allowed clipping only one leg on horizontal sections), otherwise in a fall it can rip and you're screwed. eek There are more rules for SVK use worth checking. Lots written online. Good luck.
