Boskovec

We parked in Žekovec at the lower cable car station. The path to Gosteče is quite muddy, snow starts only a bit above Planica. We chose the path over Požganjo, towards Boskovec we waded up to 25 cm of snow. Fog was occasionally replaced by sun. A bit below Boskovec we caught up with two hikers. We stopped at Janezov bivak under Javorca (still some supplies), then tea at Mozirska koča and back to the valley.

Janez's bench by the path - if you sit there you might freeze solid....

Yesterday's trip from Alpinski vrt on Golte past Janez's day room to Javorca and then on towards Boskovec. Quite a lot of snow 60+ some more some less. After the whole path to Boskovec...priceless nasmeh

Nice greetings to Janez and hope we didn't spoil the idyll too much in front of his day room velik nasmeh

Boštjan, nicely you two waded through the idyll of fresh snow towards Boskovec. Looking at the pictures I regret not going up. Well, next snowfall is already in sight. velik nasmeh

@Maja:If you went from Alpinski vrt towards Javorca you should have noticed our track which branched off right after good 10 minutes from the path leading to the top of Javorca and on to Boskovec...the buffet is filling up nicely...time to make a "party at Janez's" to empty it a bit nasmeh

Parked in Planica and along the nicely trodden path to Mozirska koča. Then along Severjeva to Javorca, then through the gully to the meadow below Boskovec, it was sinking.. zavijanje z očmi

, we got quite deep. The logbook at Boskovec is full. On return also visit to Janezov bivak at Javorca, the buffet is really well stocked: nasmeh

Descent under the walls of Javorca, then tea at Mozirska koča and to the valley. Nice greetings velik nasmeh

We put on skis below the Zg.Goltnik farm and nicely cut ski tracks mostly along the road towards Konečka planina and further towards Boskovec. Untrodden whiteness was everywhere around us, little wind and lots of sun. The plateaus were windblown. Before Rastočka planina we spotted tracks of two or three hikers leading to Boskovec. On Rastočka planina we met and of course found out we are old acquaintances. We chatted nicely and time passed too quickly in pleasant company. Our paths parted and the descent back across the plateaus to the car was really pleasant for the first ski touring of the year.

up to here someone tried with a car, further it was no longer possible

This time Boskovec with quite a nice snow cover, about 40 cm.
Again we cut a ski track along the road from Goltnik onwards, past Konečka planina to Rastočka and further under the summit of Boskovec. Until 13h no tracks visible from Mozirska koča side. Beautiful white snow in the warm day.

The rest bench on the alpine pasture was occupied...

Wind has also blown snow from plateaus and meadows here. Road from Zg.Goltnik is plowed to Konečka planina. Then there's now a track to the top of Boskovec. From Mozirska side still no tracks this time. Descent from the top was so-so, from hard inflated slabs that some said woof, to soft snow drifts. Everything changed. But as always all beautiful and great,
