I have Alpina Peak for leisure, which I've been using for three years on all kinds of hikes, summer and winter. At work I have Millet Bouthan. For Alpina shoes I paid around 130€ with discount (regular price was 170€ I think); for the Millet I had to pay 180€ with discount (think regular around 250€ at iglusport). If I compare both models I can say Millet are like vehicle with bulletproof protection - very durable but still look good on the foot. Alpina shoes are like armored vehicle, don't look the best, but compared to Millet much more durable. So price/quality ratio between these two pairs is clearly on Alpina side.

Alpina VX953-67491 shoe is treated as hiking shoe, and I say again it's poor quality. You praise Tibet if it serves you well. True less money less music.

"Hribovc88", obviously they scared you here quickly, that you already took shoes back to store. I bought similar shoes just over a year ago on sale at Interspar for 60 euros. About them only good to say. Fit great on the foot, light and due to softer sole perfect for fast walking and occasional run on home Pohorje. Lasted at least 500 fast km, some on snow too, but not on wet as they soak quickly. Don't use for mountains. When I look at "tinky" shoe, can't believe. Mine almost like new. Obviously quality at Alpina varies a lot and a bit depends on luck how you get them.

No, don't know, not clear to me why not consult with the seller what goods he sells... from own experience - in Alpina store,(in both that are with us) saleswomen have no idea what they sell, so I had to educate them myself. Those who quickly fall for sellers, buy cat in a bag ... LP! ps Discounts, sales are another field ...

I wouldn't quite agree that "less money, less music"! And they wouldn't convince me over the net to return the shoes in which I feel good back to the store. We also destroy shoes each in our own way - that could be debated. And that's why they last longer for some than others. As for summer shoes, I always buy cheap low and high ones. I just change them more often. If I sum up, I lose nothing. The most important thing is to buy such ones that I can walk all day with them without problems. And it's good to have more for different hikes.

Stock of gojzarjev in Alpina is at minimum or they don't have them anymore. New Tibet model is coming, so clearance sale.

In Alpina stores they got any shoe size I wanted from other stores around Slovenia in two or three days. So there are still 100% enough shoes

Maybe someone knows if Alpina can make a custom shoe. Some models only up to no. 47, I need 48. Can they stretch it somehow?

@LG @neph Shoes are mostly gone already (or at least more common sizes). After many years, I have to for the first time reconcile with shoes that won't be Alpina's - because simply in Slo. there are no more...

I tried on the Tibet model, but it's too narrow and too low in the front for me, if I take a larger size, it's too long. Has anyone else run into similar issues?

For one model and a bunch of different feet, that's probably normal. You just have to find the shoe model that "fits" you!

I bought some Alpina winter boots a few years ago, too narrow and too low, since I have a high and wide foot. Had them stretched, but it didn't help much. They also made ski boots too narrow (except custom ones), maybe they've done something about it now. For mountain boots you have to take time, so far I've taken summer ones from Planika, and also from Iglu in BTC (they're much friendlier than at Vič), got wide and high ones. I just traced the sole of the boot that fits me for measurement.

Today I bought Alpina Nepal 50% cheaper in the "Alpina sale". Sizes are indeed smaller, usually I buy size 43, but this model fits me in 44. Otherwise they seem solid boots for all-year season.

I see user panorama is selling Tibet because they're too narrow for him. Obviously it's really a narrow model, since I didn't buy them just because of that, and I've never had issues with narrow shoes before.
