The Polhov Gradec Hills or Polhov Gradec Dolomites are located west of Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. The highest peak of the hills is Tošč at 1,021 m, which is covered with forest. Just a few decades ago, the highest peak was Pasja Ravan (1,029 m), today (1,020 m). The Yugoslav Army, during exercises, demolished the peak and adapted it into a military training ground.
