Lochwand

Description:
Lochwand is 2618 meter high peak and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 0.6 km south-southeast of peak Röteck - Cima Rossa. The nearest mountain hut is Hochfeilerhütte, located 2km northeast. A bit closer is Walter-Brenninger-Biwak, which is located 1.0km to the south-southeast. 4 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro, 4 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Weißkarferner - Vedretta della Quaira Bianca. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Zamser Grund.
