Rotes Beil - Punta Rossa is 2949 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 5 km east-southeast from the center of St. Jakob - San Giacomo and 7 km east from the center of Rain - Riva. The nearest mountain hut is Hochfeilerhütte, located 4km east-northeast. A bit closer is Obere Engbergalm, which is located 2km to the south. 5 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Grießferner, 5 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Weißkarferner - Vedretta della Quaira Bianca. The peak is located southeast of the valley Pfitscher Tal - Val di Vizze.
