Description:
Gaisscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2700 meters in the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 0.4 km north-northeast of peak Magsteinwipfel - Picco del Sasso. The nearest mountain hut is Hochfeilerhütte, located 1.9km north. Even closer is Walter-Brenninger-Biwak, which is located 1.5km to the west-southwest. 3 km northeast from the saddle there is glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro, 3 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Weißkarferner - Vedretta della Quaira Bianca. North-northeast of the saddle is the valley Schlegeisgrund.
