Pockshorn is 3021 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located 0.4 km northeast of peak Östlicher Hochwart - Monte Guardia Alta Est. The nearest mountain hut is Edelrauthütte, located 1.4km east-southeast. And Walter-Brenninger-Biwak is also close by. 1.5 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Gliederferner - Ghiacciaio del Gran Pilastro, 2 km north from the summit there is also glacier Weißkarferner - Vedretta della Quaira Bianca. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Schlegeisgrund.
