I assume snow is falling in the Komna area today. What are the prospects for the weekend regarding snow conditions? This is a question for local mountaineers

Hm. Turkish mountain over gully? Would like to hear from local mountaineers what forecast for this weekend ahead. I believe Saturday better than Sunday. For us coming from Croatia Sunday is nice. What do you locals say? Advice?

Yesterday we two went from Bukovnik to the hut on Grohat and over Durce to the top. Soft, sinking in, very hard. Weather changed several times, so we turned back at Mala Raduha. Descent even harder because of blizzard (squalls). Snow 1m to 1.5m. Sinking into scree. Need skis or snowshoes. Otherwise nice and wonderful views.

I'm interested how passable the road is towards the hut on Grohat and Bukovnik.
Is the hut open?

My boyfriend and I went up from Logarska yesterday to Frisch hut at Okrešelj, (trodden path, little snow, can be slippery, caution not superfluous), then further towards Turski gully. Lots of snow, sinking, path was untrodden, strenuous all the way to the gully, in the gully fairly solid snow base that still sinks in wind-packed spots, so we didn't use crampons... LP, Silva
