Saltgreben Schneid is 2820 meter high peak in the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 2 km west of peak Blaue Schneid - Cresta Azzurra. The nearest mountain hut is Höchsterhütte am Grünsee - Rifugio Canziani al Lago Verde, located 8km south-southwest. Closer is bivouac Töbrunn, which is located 4km to the north-northeast. 2 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Hasenohrferner - Vedretta d'Orecchia, 6 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Soyferner - Vedretta di Soi. West of the summit is the valley Martelltal.
