Rossbodenscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2718 meters in the Ortler Alps. The saddle is located 1.8 km east-southeast of peak Hasenöhrl - L'Orecchia di Lepre. The nearest mountain hut is Höchsterhütte am Grünsee - Rifugio Canziani al Lago Verde, located 9km southwest. Closer is bivouac Jochpfarrer, which is located 4km to the north-northeast. 1.9 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Hasenohrferner - Vedretta d'Orecchia. The saddle is located northwest of the valley Auerbergtal.
