Tarscher Pass

Description:
Tarscher Pass is a saddle at an altitude of 2517 meters and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The saddle is located 5 km south-southeast from the center of Tarsch - Tarres and 6 km northwest from the center of Kuppelwies - Pracupola and 0.3 km east of peak Marchegg - Monte Confinale. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Maddalene, located 12km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Jochpfarrer, which is located 1.1km to the north-northeast. 3 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Hasenohrferner - Vedretta d'Orecchia. Southeast of the saddle is the valley Ultental - Val d'Ultimo.
