Description:
Mutegg - Monte Muta is 2658 meter high peak with a cross and is part of the Ortler Alps. The peak is located 3 km east of peak Hasenöhrl - L'Orecchia di Lepre. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Maddalene, located 10km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Jochpfarrer, which is located 4km to the north. 4 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Hasenohrferner - Vedretta d'Orecchia. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Ultental - Val d'Ultimo.
