Hoher Dieb - Gran Ladro is 2730 meter high peak in the Ortler Alps. The peak is located 5 km north-northwest from the center of Kuppelwies - Pracupola and 6 km southeast from the center of Tarsch - Tarres. The nearest mountain hut is Malga Castrin - Aler Alm, located 11km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Jochpfarrer, which is located 3km to the west. 6 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Hasenohrferner - Vedretta d'Orecchia. East of the summit is the valley Falkomaital - Valle Falcomai.
