Elferspitz is 2270 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 3 km south from the center of Thal and 8 km south-southwest from the center of Morter. The nearest mountain hut is Höchsterhütte am Grünsee - Rifugio Canziani al Lago Verde, located 6km south.
