Rosskopf is 2710 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 6 km south-southwest from the center of Tarnell - Tarnello and 8 km west-southwest from the center of Thal. The nearest mountain hut is Lyfialm - Malga Lifi, located 5km south-southeast.
