Lyfispitze is 3352 meter high peak and is part of the National Park Stelvio. The peak is located 8 km east from the center of Sulden - Solda and 8 km south from the center of Tarnell - Tarnello and 1.1 km east of peak Lyfihorn. The nearest mountain hut is Lyfialm - Malga Lifi, located 4km south-southeast. A little further is Julius Payer Stadl. 5 km south-southeast of the peak there is lake Zufritt-Stausee - Lago di Gioveretto. 3 km west-northwest from the summit there is glacier Ofenwandferner/Vedretta del Forno, 4 km west-southwest from the summit there is also glacier Rosimferner - Vedretta di Rosim. The peak is located northwest of the valley Martelltal.
