The nearest mountain hut is Schutzhütte Schneeberg - Rifugio Monteneve, located 1.9km northwest. A little further is Saltnusser Alm. 4 km north from the summit there is glacier Hangender Ferner. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Ratschingstal.
