Hoher Schlug is 2777 meter high peak in the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 6 km west from the center of Ridnaun - Ridanna and 9 km northwest from the center of Bichl - Colle. The nearest mountain hut is Teplitzerhütte - Rifugio Vedretta Pendente, located 4km north. Closer is Gewinges-Alm, which is located 3km to the east-southeast. 2 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Hangender Ferner, 5 km north from the summit there is also glacier Hangender Ferner - Vedretta Pendente. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Ridnauntal.
