Description:
Hochkarspitze is 2836 meter high peak and is part of the Verwall Alps. The peak is located 4 km east-southeast from the center of St. Anton am Arlberg and 5 km south-southwest from the center of Pettneu am Arlberg. The nearest mountain hut is Edmund-Graf-Hütte, located 4km east. A little further is Gstanshütte Jehle Otto. 5 km east from the summit there is glacier Pettneuer Ferner, 5 km east from the summit there is also glacier Flirscher Ferner.
