Description:
Zwölferkopf is 2558 meter high peak and is part of the Verwall Alps. The peak is located 1.2 km northwest of peak Hochkarspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Leutkircher Hütte, located 5km north. Closer is Tanunalpe Hütte, which is located 4km to the west-southwest. 5 km east from the summit there is glacier Pettneuer Ferner, 6 km east from the summit there is also glacier Flirscher Ferner.
