The nearest mountain hut is Jamtalhütte, located 4km west. A little further is bivouac Ehemalige Zollwachhütte. 3 km southwest from the saddle there is glacier Futschölferner, 5 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Vadret da Chalaus. North-northeast of the saddle is the valley Fimbatal.
