Description:
Doppelseescharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2786 meters in the Verwall Alps. The saddle is located 1.0 km southwest of peak Saumspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Darmstädter Hütte, located 1.6km northwest. Kartellhütte is also relatively close. 0.8 km south of the saddle there is lake Madleinsee. 1.6 km east-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Kartellferner, 2 km west-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Großer Kuchenferner. North of the saddle is the valley Moostal.
