The nearest mountain hut is Darmstädter Hütte, located 1.3km south-southeast. And Kartellhütte is also close by. 1.5 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Großer Kuchenferner, 3 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Kartellferner.
