The nearest mountain hut is Darmstädter Hütte, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is Fasulhütte. 2 km north from the saddle there is glacier Großer Kuchenferner, 4 km east-northeast from the saddle there is also glacier Kartellferner. The saddle is located above the valley Fasultal.
