Donačka gora

Description of mountain:
Donačka gora is a peak located north of Rogatec. From the summit, which geographically belongs to the Karawanks, there is a nice view of the near and far surroundings. From the western peak, on which a tall stone cross stands, Boč with its surroundings is clearly visible; in good weather the view extends from the central Kamnik-Savinja Alps to Pohorje. The western summit also has a logbook and a Slovenian flag. As partly mentioned, Donačka gora has two almost equally high peaks, western and eastern. Most mountaineers end the ascent on the western summit, while only a few extend it to the 20 minutes distant eastern peak, which is technically more demanding. The eastern peak can also be reached via a shorter climbing path.
