Begunjščica

Description of peak:
Begunjščica is a mountain range in the Karavanke east of Stol. The highest peak is Veliki vrh, which at over 2000 m offers a beautiful view of central Slovenia. Some call Begunjščica the mountain of a hundred dells, as it is interspersed with them. The summit, which is part of the SPP, also has a viewing platform and a registration box. Otherwise, the summit is grassy and vast, but precipitous on the north side.
