Veliki Oltar

Description of peak:
Veliki Oltar is an imposing mountain with no marked trail leading to it. This makes it a highly desirable destination for hikers who enjoy off-trail routes. However, it is not accessible to everyone – at least grade II climbing is required, even if only for a few metres. Finding the route is not easy either, although cairns mark the way. Oltar thus gives climbers exactly what they seek: beautiful views, peace, wilderness and the satisfaction of a conquered summit. The summit also has a summit register box.
