Škrlatica

Description of peak:
Škrlatica is the second highest mountain in Slovenia. There is a cross at the top, which makes it easy to identify the peak from neighbouring mountains. It also has a very distinctive north-north-west face, which is clearly visible from the Vršiška cesta. From the top there is a very fine view of all the peaks above the Vrata valley, especially Triglav and the neighbouring Dolkova špica, and to the east the difficult-to-reach Rokavi is clearly visible. The summit also has a registration box.
