Description of peak:
Hom is an 834 m high hill that rises north above the villages Zasip and Podhom near Bled, or south of the village Blejska Dobrava near Jesenice. There is a cross on the top, below whose steep western slope the famous Vintgar gorge winds, and you can also sign the local register and use the stamp.
Hom is a popular recreation spot for many villagers, but it is also attractive for those who want to relax in nature. If you are quiet enough, you may encounter wild animals such as squirrels and deer along the way. A few metres below the summit, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Karawanks with the Chair and Begunjščica, and their southern mountain range above the villages of the (so-called) Land.
