Planina Rčitno

Description of mountain pasture:
The picturesque mid-mountain mountain pasture above Lake Bled on Pokljuka is obvious. In the past, it was mainly used for mowing, and the path to it was also used for harvesting wood from the forests of Pokljuka. Today, there is no shepherd's hut, but a few neat cottages, some of which are already antique, and cattle and small livestock graze on it. Planina Rčitno is well known to mountain bikers, as well as horse riders and hikers, as a stopover on the way from Bled to Galetovec and the final destination on Pokljuka, but it is also very suitable as a final destination for family trips.
