If you're used to "climbing" with pegs, you shouldn't have problems. As for conditions on the path over Kotliče, I unfortunately have no info.

If you mean via Kotliče to Kamniško sedlo, without ice axe it won't go...right after entering the slopes of Brane there's a very steep snowfield that you have to cross upwards and without ice axe it won't go...the final path was at least on Saturday still too narrow...

09.07.2016 Turska gora After descending from Skuta, Krešo and I continued to Turska gora (In the Turski gully the cable is broken and the descent here is very difficult). We descended through Kotliče and along the foot of Brane back to Okrešelj. The problem is the snowfield after Kotliče where we climb up the slope of Brane. Here the snow is still quite thick, but it can be bypassed on the left by crossing the scree. It's tricky and for the inexperienced possibly dangerous... Also the scree below Kotliče is still snowy and our plan to descend from Kotliče via scree to Okrešelj was not possible...

Hi, in your opinion, is Turski gully harder than Žrelo on Ledine?

There are two little piles of stones there, nice view, the height of Mali Rinka is on the stamp of Štajerska Rinka

Before the weather worsened I awaited sunset on Turska Mountain, morning in bivouac under Skuta. But during the night a front with deterioration arrived in KSA and brought thick fog to Male pode. Still beautiful autumn jump into the hills! More photos and route description at the link: Autumn night in bivouac under Skuta and Turska Mountain

Has anyone gone to Turska these days? I'm interested in how much snow there is in the gully and if it can be piked?
