Today on Turska gora via Turski gully. In the gully I needed crampons and ice axe. Continuing towards Turska gora, crossing snowfields in this warm weather did not pose major problems. Still, caution is needed.

Has anyone gone through Turski gully to Skuta in the last days and can describe the conditions a bit?

More than a week ago full winter gear was needed - in the lower part of the ascent to Skuta -- in the gully I wasn't, didn't need to be, but I know it's still snowy

It's as redbull wrote Turski gully is still heavily snow-covered. Good luck

In the gully, crampons are probably recommended?

The ascent was made from Sl. Bistrica over Žmavčarje, so I didn't traverse the gully but just exchanged a brief "photographic greeting" with it. Greg's link says it all.., lp

Hi, I'm wondering if the cables in the gully are now completely dry and if it's passable and what the conditions are back over Kotliče. Thanks and best, Miha

Cables are dry, torn at one spot (about 4-5 meters, condition as of 2.7.), but the pegs remain.

Aha thanks. Can one get past those 5 meters without issues? What about return via Kotlice?
