Tirske peči 8.5.2018

As usual we started the tour under Bela pečjo this time too, where someone was already earlier than us. At the stop by the monument the company surprises me with singing and multi-voiced at that. They sang so beautifully that I got goosebumps on my arms. We all managed the gully without problems despite the team no longer being dewy young. Protections are all OK. At Lopna peči the song echoed again. There we left a new logbook as mice had gnawed the old one. There bos from the forum joined us and together we continued over Šteng, Gamsji vrt to Treh plotov where we parted. The beauty of avrikljev is already fading but they were still wonderful. Protections in Gamsji vrt are all OK too. At prŽlajferju we treated ourselves to a longer break as the always friendly owner Iztok served excellent meat delicacies with the ordered drinks and gave some schnapps for the bivouac. Of course not without singing and my goosebumps. So despite tiredness we quite quickly reached past the chapel to the bivouac. There the weather worsened and we waited singing until the short shower passed. During descent the sun shone again and so through Okno and past Mesarska lopa pleasantly tired we concluded a really nice adventure in Golteh.

The day before my buddy Sašo from Šentjur calls me for a trip around Golteh. On Saturday morning we park in the strip on Planinska ravni. Since there was most interest in Tirske we decide for them.
There was just enough snow for enjoyable trudging. The weather also turned out nicer than forecasted. Before entering the gully to Lopna peč we also checked out the Erotic forest"nasmeh" While walking towards Konjski vrh we saw lots of chamois. The view from it rewarded the trudging over Tirske. At "Pr Žlajferju" we recharged batteries and past hotel Golte and Mozirska koča jumped also to my bivouac under Javorca. Two team members waited for us in the hut where we then sat. Followed descent past Mesarska lopa under the walls of Okenca to the car.

In Gamsji vrt in Tirske peči the avriklji are already nicely blooming. A few more days and the blooming will be at its peak.
Protections in the gully to Lopna peč and higher over Gamsji vrt are all ok. The paths are also nicely cleared. Both to Konjski vrh and the path to Zgornja Lopa. There is still a bypass from Malinski vrh to the monument. There either below on the road or above past Travnatnica.
Pictures from the last 6 trips around Tirske peči. Each time it was nice.

A nice morning lured me to Golte yesterday.
During the drive I remember one promise and already write a message. Barely had I put down the phone when I get a positive reply. While waiting for my companion on Planinska ravni I watch for chamois, but there were none this time. I jump to saw through a fallen log on one path and she arrives.
We parked under Bela peč and soon breathed fresh air purified by the previous day's rain on the way towards Tirske peči.
The blooming of avriklji is over. Only individual flowers remain. But Tirske are no less interesting for that, especially for someone going there for the first time. The gully was a bit wet after the rain so we decided for extra caution-protection. At Lopna peč we signed in and continued via steep Šteng and Gamsji vrt towards Trije ploti.
From there we made a loop past Jezerca, Ledenica and Kebrovo brezno, and descended through Okno.

Like raindrops, the decision for Tirske fell quickly. My two colleagues from 5:30 am were just waiting for my SMS to cancel everything. Raindrops scratched merrily on roofs all night, morning, but we don't give upcool
Morning drive to Mozirska planina occasionally required top wiper speed.
Before entering the gully we got properly washed several times. Gully slippery and sliding. Cables damaged in places - falling rocks. Still safe, just might get a scratch.
Žlajfarjev Iztok lit the fireplace and outside it's also taken care of so you don't freeze. Mozirska hut and hotel closed!!
Past hotel, over Alpine garden we descended to the window, visited Mesarska lopa. After a bit over four hours of walking we ended our joint trip. Everyone hurried home for Sunday lunch, I sat another half hour in pleasant chat with locals at Baza bar garden.velik nasmeh

Yes, rain put things under quite a big question markvelik nasmeh So even more thanks for the nice trip and pleasant company! The silhouette of nature at the edge of the forest frame under Gamsji vrt took me. Locals can be justly proud of these places. Didn't take photos, as they say the best pictures stay in the head... Yesterday (just the 13th) a unique opportunity offered itself, I could choose the tour and decided for Tirke peči. No regrets.

Morning is wonderful. We park at the last bend of the road on Golte. We walk under Bela peč towards the monument, on some variant that turns out good as it avoids mud on the lower path. We pick up all ticks sticking to pants and scare a herd of young roe deer.
Path to entry gully is orientationally quite demanding, lots of side paths and choosing the right one isn't trivial. Before the gully Zlatko sends me to find "ass". Of course I found it right away.
Foot pegs in gully wet and cable stings fingers a bit without gloves, but only one "ouch".

At Klopna peč we stop first time a bit and look around. The ridge of Bela peč is really mighty.
Continue over "štenge" on steep traverses to Konjski vrh (if I remember right, locals call it "last meadow"). Avrikelj already wilted! Cross pastures where livestock already grazes, towards Žlajfar. Refreshment.
On to the hotel that looks closed despite quite some visitors.

Descent pure Zlatko style. From Alpine garden direct vertical to the road. Unforgettable!!! Probably won't repeat that, at least not me. Adrenaline still "pumps" today.
Nice morning tour (good 4 hours spent), so we were home on time for lunch.

Comment: in the morning smeared myself with homemade apple vinegar and on top with lemon juice (for better mood during car drive). Even plague wouldn't stick to mecool
Otherwise ticks crawled on pants legs (one was even reddish, big, lively). For now I think I have none and protection worked...cool
