For years I was postponing the second visit to Svinjak, before finally taking the trail today. From the parking lot the summit looked cheekily far and devilishly high, once in the forest it was nothing worse than steep path. Weather perfect for leisure, company I'm not used to, sometimes even avoid it, but got it at Čelo, where open-air museum. Brown bitch with some white in fur, friendly as can be, joined me and accompanied to the top. In between chatted about this and that, if she lagged I called and she came running, barking loudly. Below summit, some hard icy snow on trail, we went separately, me along cables which were helpful due to snow, her around through rocks. Above jump met again and to top. There had some trouble how to tackle snack, with effort and ingenuity both satisfied and somewhat sated. Soon after guy then girl arrived, short chat, sigh or two for lovely day and down I went. Alone, companion stayed up hoping for treat. Descended "na gliho", straight to village, no repeat Čelo. After tour where else but Zajnca to Justi and Vink, long time no see. Before that stop at friend Na Logu, time really relative, 20 min lasted good 2 hours. Similar in Zajnca, another chat and home in dark. Trails to Svinjak fine, some snow below and on top no obstacle, safe without gear thanks to cables and bushes. Today, week after ascent, path probably dry. If someone goes soon, crust of dry bread in backpack welcome
