Normally drivable, gravel part is a bit worse here and there, nothing dramatic. Better than usual on Jermanca.

We were on Saturday on Stol via the via ferrata path and back past Celovška koča. By the way also to Svačica, beautiful cross on top. Via ferrata part super as always - one of the nicer via ferratas for me.

Gravel road part in quite bad state, with big potholes, drive slowly and carefully (especially low cars).

Barrier raised, higher up repairing road, some left car lower. Got by car to Valvazorjev dom and to Stol by thumb.

Near the puddle such trash really stands out, up the mountain I didn't notice it at all.... took it down to the valley.

Today up and down via Zabreška.

Nothing special on the path, wind (forecast NW) seems to have cooled hikers a bit on the Žirovnica path, on Zabreška hardly any, on summit almost none. First snow patches started below Prešeren hut, nothing special. A bit of caution needed on those few meters of the ridge of Mali Stol and down to the basin, to Veliki Stol there were frozen footprints. I went without crampons, but on the way back put them on out of caution to Prešeren hut. Others varied. Some even in sneakers. Crows annoying as always, one wanted to take my sandwich for free. Besides crows met at least 50 more hikers.

Weather perfect, views far around. On descent turned to Zabreška planina and laughed at the carved figures by the shepherd hut.

Road ramp was open (apparently from 1 November to 30 April). At Valvazorjev dom at 7 am on the parking lot there were only one or two parking spots left, when returning around 1 pm there were many cars parked also along the road.

The path to the summit was mostly snowy and icy.

One could see to the end of the Karavanke and even further.

Zelenica is in the heart of the mountains.

Up to asphalt went there also parked by the road, further chains. Up Žirovnica path, snow around 20 cm +-. Up at last bushes it cleared up and also became very cold and windy. Cold to hut took my energy. Had to protect face. At hut dress more, crampons up. Summit only few minutes, few days ago seems rained to top, ...cold made me a bit sick, which quickly went away. Descended down the valley back with crampons.

You can drive to the asphalt and further with the car, there's some ice. Up Žabreska path, used ice axe, didn't put on crampons. Down Žirovnica path.

Snow is continuous from Prižnica onwards. I put on crampons a bit earlier because the path is icy. If going only to Valvazorjevo, take microspikes, because there are still some short icy sections.
