@grega68: True, the path looks closed on the map. That's because I emailed them, pointed out the error, and got this response from them: "Thanks for the notice. There was a technical error. Now both closed sections are recorded." So from me PZS gets a three. A slap for lacking info and a five for quick and up-to-date fix.

"It clearly says it's a warning. Anyway the reason for closure is known and you can go around that part a bit more to the left without issues. I'm old enough to know what I'm doing. " Hiker's response to my comment about him ignoring the path closure to Skuta. Is this attitude familiar to anyone?

This notice better be removed, as no one follows it, they even take selfies next to that rock. And certified guides lead hikers on this path....The mountaineering club responsible for this path has been silent for two years...where is this world going

@redbull Yes, if rocks from hills just flew down by themselves, there would be piles of stones under most walls that fell from the cliff....

@grega Impossible. That would mean Redbull is wrong. I simply can't believe it.

I don't know what's happening to you, I see you're not normal as long as nothing happens to anyone it's all ok, when it does it's pd's fault, in short irresponsible to the end:

Hello, haven't seen info anywhere about the path from Jezersko (to Mlinarsko sedlo and over Dolgi hrbet), does anyone know if the path is fully dry (passable without winter gear)? thanks!

Higher than the Czech hut under the wall there's another snowfield which doesn't cause problems and can be crossed or bypassed.

Yesterday my love got me out from behind the walls again towards Skuta. Despite the shortened run to Grintovec in the rainy week, we decided to conquer it via Kokrško sedlo and past the bivouac under Grintovec. Morning weather was sunny with some light occasional fog. We met quite a few hikers. Among them also a group of Croats who ascended via Turška gora. The path itself was wonderful without peculiarities. We also had a deal with the weather because as soon as we changed at the car it started raining. All's well that ends well.

I was wandering yesterday around the bivouac under Skuta. There's a sign up that the path to Skuta is closed. Still they went on closed.

I really don't understand this fascination with this path. In Slovenia we have 10.014 km of hiking trails, but some seem to think it absolutely necessary to push exactly on the path closed due to the obvious danger of falling rocks? I myself plan once via Turška gora to Skuta, but I am fully reconciled with waiting a bit longer. In the light of hundreds of rocky, grassy and forested beauties jutting into the sky all around, viewing Skuta from afar poses no problem at all for me. So, a serious question: Can any of the masters pushing on this path explain to me why push exactly on the closed 500m path, not on the remaining 10 thousand km of our hills?

5Xum, this is about as sensible thinking as wondering why anyone goes to the high mountains at all, where there are precipices and falling rocks, instead of walking on hills and the seaside. (In reality, I don't understand this fascination of little Slovenians of all nationalities to get upset or horrified by the actions of others that don't affect them at all.)

I'm fascinated when adults think like thirteen-year-olds... And consequently happily violate restrictions that don't seem sensible to them, while happily shifting their responsibility to others and/or asserting their "right" with arguments shaped appropriately for "their" age...

Anyone can walk on the mentioned section of the path anytime. The path maintainer has only avoided any responsibility for a possible accident on that section with the notice, until the path is repaired.

@SamoK As a taxpayer, it affects me greatly every time a military helicopter picks someone off the mountains at my expense who rammed their head through a wall. As for the comparison with hiking in the high mountains... High mountain paths are arranged and routed to be as safe as possible. This does not currently apply to the path to Skuta, so your analogy has no real basis. @Janez: of course, anyone can walk on the path. I just ask those people who walk there why they have to walk exactly where a multi-ton rock is unstably hanging on one cable.
