The best view from the Logarska or Žmavčarji direction is the last pic from Turska gora. Before entering the rocky part, you may still need to step on some snow. It's not wrong to have winter gear with you.

Has anyone maybe been to Skuta in the last week - preferably from the bivouac under Skuta / over Žmavčarji?
I'm aware that for tomorrow they're forecasting some new snow (over 5 cm), which will affect the conditions too.

Congrats on the ascent! Skuta is on my wishlist too so I'd ask for some more detailed info on the ascent.
How long did the ascent take you? Where did you descend? Any problematic spots regarding conditions with little snow? What about that icicle hanging on the fixed rope, is it easy to pass and is it problematic to bypass? Thanks and cheers from Rijeka

Yesterday evening headed towards Skuta from Kamniška Bistrica side, via Žmavcarji.
Turned back at 1600m height. Soft sinking snow, above 1300m windblown with crust that doesn't bear human load.
Good news also here, track "maintained" to 1600m.

Just one small note, well-intentioned.
Probably makes sense to have gloves on when using the ice axe, otherwise it would rip the skin off your knuckles when arresting, especially on steeper, frozen parts.
