Gamsov skret is snow-free, to Skuta without snow won't be possible. At least not from the bivouac. Regards

Last weekend - looking at the north face of Kočna, Grintovec, Dolgi hrbet, Rinka .. still quite some snow - larger snow tongues; Without crampons and ice axe, the ascent would be a serious challenge..

From Skuta to Grintovec it's mostly dry. I've posted some other pics also under conditions for Grintovec.

Yesterday via Žmavcarji to Skuta, descent to Kokrško sedlo.
Except a small (though steep) snowfield just before wall entry (need to cross 10-15 m) the path is completely dry and without issues.

Does anyone know what the path from Križ to Skuta and from Skuta to Cojzovo kočo is like? Has anyone walked it recently?

From Križ to Skuta it's quite long, though I usually go the other way. From Kranjska R. along the ridge is at least III, and I hope I'll do it someday...

Velocy just two days before your post, Crazy climber, wrote that the path is without special features. The ridge from Kr.Rinke to Skuta you probably didn't mean, if you did it's 100% dry.

Today we finished the tour V Koncu - Kokrsko sedlo - Skuta - Kokrsko sedlo - V Koncu. First day we went to Cojzova and slept there, second day up and back to the valley. From Cojzova hut we went first that day, woke up at 4:03, left around 4:25 with lights, which we kept on until halfway to Pavleta. Weather was perfect today... at the summit at 9:00, because we weren't rushing. From the top sea of clouds below us, only Grintovec, Kočna, Dolgi hrbet, Štruca, Velika Baba, Krofička, Planjava and Ojstrica sticking out, everything lower in clouds. Triglav and Škrlatica visible too, far in the distance in the Hohe Tauern Hochalmspitze . Down Veliki Podi revealed all the way to the bivouac, below still clouds. On Podi some snow patches we can use for fresh water... Then to Kamniška Bistrica to soak feet and eat something, sat at a table from which Skuta is visible  . Pictures tomorrow, good luck

Today Skuta, nice views until 11. Path from Rinka waterfall to summit without issues, but 4 poles for belay, loosened on the way to Skuta.
P.S. If someone misses poles (Savoy) or forgot them, they are before the entrance to Skuta wall.
