On Saturday no barrier, but could drive only about a kilometer further. Where meadows end and road climbs, all snowed in and impassable, so long walk to Planina Blato. Especially if that's just the start.

Parking meter really doesn't return money, but parking can be paid with card too, probably simpler.
Procedure - at least in my case - first you stare blankly, then figure out for each hour click "pay with card" once (e.g. 6 hrs, 6x click), machine adds 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 ... When you have enough, tap the card on the reader.

Does anyone know if the Bohinj tourist card covers toll to planina Blato too?
It covers most parking around the lake, nothing is mentioned for pl. Blato

This is now the toll cost or parking.
If you park more than 4 hours, it is better to drive straight to Blato .

Just a warning: last Saturday Senožeta parking was full before 6 a.m. or hard to find a spot among all campers ... Two full minibuses + van went because so many for free ride.
So come early to calmly find spot, prepare change (!), pay parking (4 euros not 2 as in Danica) and wait for bus.
Afternoon bus from Blato also goes to lake for a swim and catch next to Senožeta. Good luck!

Yes, 4€ for Senožet, I was careless  Under Kobla there's free parking, from there the bus also goes to the lake and surrounding villages, if not going to the high mountains, that's not bad either. The crowding under Kobla is definitely the least in terms of space for cars.

Regarding the toll for pl. Blato, it's not clear to me. For going up I pay 12 eur. If returning the next day, do I have to pay another 12 eur?

For driving to Voje or higher, it's paid on return. Every 24 hours, 12 EUR.

I think it's 12€ paid on return same day till 23:59. If you return the next day, you pay 24€, even a minute past midnight.
Maybe I'm wrong.
