Otherwise, PD Solčava organizes a guided tour of the Škaf every year.
First Sunday in June, last year 3.6.2012 (so this year 2.6.2013). Then drinks and food are provided at the hut in the Kot.

I wasn't above the shaft, so I don't know. All that is pictured from the valley. I plan to look a bit closer this week.

The shaft forms perfectly with heavy rain, but there hasn't been much of that in the mountains this year, so it's probably not very deep yet. That's why a visit is recommended towards the end of May. From the upper picture, you can see that there's lots of snow this year and harder access because of the steepness of the snowfield. Crampons are sometimes not superfluous.

This year the shaft might be record deep due to the abundance of snow. But I think that before 20 May it won't be descended to the bottom. If someone goes up, please report the depth.
Don't forget the rope. I usually tie a hiking pole to it for weighting.

Instead of going to Logar Valley drive further to Pavlič Saddle-Austria, ca 1km left turnoff Matkov kot, little bridge over stream and small parking by road also sign for Shaft. This path also to Mrzla gora.

@Hribovc88 if you visit Shaft towards end of May you can see also Golden Slipper flower which grows along path.
And nice "thirst" in Matkov Valley.
