Mali Golak

Yesterday we headed to Primorska, where we visited SPP points. After a long drive there was a morning snack at the hut on Čavnu, then a drive to Strgarija pass, from where we went past the hut towards the summit of Mali Golak. Great view from the top nasmeh

Later we drove to Sini vrh and Javornik, where we did two short ascents to both peaks.
Our five-year-old is diligently collecting SPP stamps, better half is nearing the end of SPP jezik

Today despite bad weather to Mali Golak, got to the path behind Strgarija pass, parked there and walked to the trail that goes from Korenina to Mali Golak. There real winter with 30cm snow and foggy. On top a bit windy, returned past the hut where it was more southerly, then to the car, nice morning!! velik nasmeh

that's how the Golaks looked on Dec 2 morning. Afternoon was already different since it started snowing heavily on descent. zavijanje z očmi

This afternoon on Mali Golak, fantastic! Snow like powder, on top around 50cm snow. Otherwise sunny and wonderful views across all Slovenia, the sun set into the sea, fantastic!!! velik nasmeh

Today with friend on New Year's walk, we went along the road to the trail from Predmeja, then along the trail across the main road, over the clearing and through the forest. At the start mostly dry, snow starts around 1300m. Snow is quite icy, so I recommend crampons. On top great views.

Bogdan tomorrow I plan to climb Mali Golak. Just wondering how far the road is drivable, and if it's icy anywhere. Thanks for info.

Weather was relatively good today compared to forecast. A bit of occasional snow but nothing major (snow didn't even stick to ground), otherwise cloudy and not that cold. Hut was closed mrk pogled

although PZS says it opens on Thursdays. Nice path but somewhat slippery. For descent I rather used crampons since I had them. It was very very foggy. Nice tour for winter time nasmeh

This afternoon on Mali Golak, quite busy. Some cm new snow, otherwise nothing special, no views because fog, in hut friendly staff, on return a bit snowing!! velik nasmeh

On Saturday evening, my friend calls if I go with him on a night hike to Mali Golak, no need to convince, immediately I'm in. I go to Predmeja where the group is already gathered and off we go on the path, in snowfall and real winter idyll to Mali Golak. Group of 12 people. We had a great time, some said go only to hut, others to summit then little socialize! All time snowing and when coming to hut we all happy how we warm up velik nasmeh

. But when arrived at hut TOPIC, hut closed at 19.40!! jezen

Snowflakes shone on us, some went to top, others back to cars, without refreshment! mrk pogled

Today on Mali Golak. Path well trodden, it was quite cold and on top quite windy, plenty of visitors. It was a nice day. Best regards.

The Gora Society organized a hike to the snowy Golak, which we attended in quite large numbers.. all praise to the organizers ..the weather favored us, even the little sun welcomed us, without real winter and Primorska bora it wouldn't go without... It was nice nasmeh

We too were today in the embrace of the snowy and foggy Golak. Path well trodden, recognition to members of Gora society. Otherwise started in sun, went into fog, at top windy, on return to Predmeja low clouds. Otherwise nice winter tour!
