Kredarica on Friday. We extended the route a bit, as under Zg.Krma we turned right past the hunting hut to the trail towards Staničeva hut. Then nicely back in a loop, where we joined the main path to Kredarica somewhere after Ržki podi. Views were wonderful.

When I was emptying my backpack today from yesterday's (5.2.) trip from Kredarica, I noticed an unknown jacket in my backpack. I don't know how it got there. I want to return it to the owner, let him contact me on mobile: 040 983 720 Peter

Also today, same as yesterday. Excellent conditions to Kredarica. I don't know how it is now when the sun has risen, probably snow already soft. In the morning when we went up with Šavs, it was still frozen. So up and down flew. Car left 300m beyond Kovinarska hut. Back in 2:45. People, today and yesterday quite a crowd, even on Triglav. Regards Jure - Cveto

Yes, as Cveto wrote, true divine path (probably not due to the chapel). Just ski comment: Top snow quite dry, from somewhere 2200 m a.s.l. at 12h already nicely soft. In my opinion excellent conditions. Down via Ulce, then traversed right (summer path). Nice variant, just a bit need to "stamp" to join others above Prgarca.

Hi! I'm wondering who is the one who treated me and my colleague to tea at Kredarica yesterday (6.2.2011) and then ate my corn bread ...somehow we didn't introduce ourselves, dude! Have a nice day!

Well I'm not the one who treated you to tea nor ate the corn bread, but I am the one who gave the meteorologist two sausages from the home pantry for lunch. Nice regards and good luck!

Nice greetings. Today I had the honor again to hike with Ivan Šavs. Šavs has thus today finished his hikes to Kredarica. "Let everything somehow end on three" That's how Ivan started two days before Christmas. Until today he has done 33 ascents to Kredarica. He did the ascents in 3 months, 3 days in a row he was also on Triglav. For the end we went today after the tour to the Psnack inn each for 3 pancakes. Today was really a nice day. Already yesterday we agreed not to rush. We also started an hour later than usual. The hike was touristy (conversational). But still we hiked up in only 2h 10min. During his hikes, I went with him about 5x and never regretted it. The guy really knows how to enjoy! He never worries about time. Except once we said, come on let's race to see in how much time we can go up and down. Then we tried harder. When sometimes we overtake some "mountaineers" with huge backpacks front and back, and you hear words like: "look at those crazies, they don't even know how to hike in mountains", "those really don't know how to enjoy, the beauty of mountains" Then you wonder. Who is enjoying? The one going up lightly, full of life and good mood, or the one dragging up the whole "shift" with a huge backpack full of drinks and food, all red in the face, struggling, damn, why does he need this But it's nice to hear when others give you some encouraging word, or at least politely greet back. I've also finished with Kredarica for a while. Of course I'll wander elsewhere in the mountains, hope for some tour again with Ivan Šavs. Best, Jure - Cveto

Really congratulations that you came to Kredarica so many times in such a short time. I can't understand that in such weather you hike up in just over two hours. You say some hike up with full backpacks, but you two went up without anything. A person can't be hungry and thirsty and go to the mountains. And everywhere they say you have to drink plenty, I think even in this time you need to drink. We're heading to Kredarica next weekend, we know we won't get up in two hours, but we have time to go up and down nicely slowly and safely. Best regards and more beautiful moments in our beautiful mountains.

Cveto, how do you get to such condition? Can that be trained or do some manage it naturally?

Ugn, that can be trained, but you need A LOT of free time, some is genetics too and of course as far as I know Cveto has been at it for more than 15 years. If I'm wrong let him correct me Cveto keep it up! Best, Grega

Petruša, No problem when it's frozen. You have crampons in the shoe, so minimal slipping. We're not completely without anything. Šavs has a small backpack, a t-shirt to change and half a liter of isotonic. I have only kidney belt, just as much power as Ivan, one sweatshirt, windbreaker tied to the belt. That's it. And to avoid misunderstanding, we also hike safely. What helps if you have perfect gear with you but don't know how to use it. Well good luck next weekend. ugn, Some can do it naturally, we work a bit on it. But I have to admit, only since mid-December I'm training a lot. You have to upgrade talent a lot if you want to accomplish what I set myself. But even if you don't have it in you, with diligent training and will you too will get under two hours up. Best Jure - Cveto
