For August I'm planning a multi-day trip around KSA. Interested in the route from Dom na Okrešlju over Turski žleb to Križ and descent to Koča na Ledinah or reverse - wondering what's more sensible, which direction. Can anyone who's been around there recommend something?

I don't quite understand, whether you end the tour at Jezersko, or back to Logarska? Otherwise super 2-day tour Okrešelj-Turski žleb-Skuta-Dolgi hrbet-Češka koča (sleep), second day on to Ledine-Križ-Kamniško sedlo-Okrešelj.

@andrej78 Yes circular tour is planned, just don't know exactly which one yet, so collecting data. Maybe you can even help with planning (or someone else who knows these parts better). Planned 3-day tour (2 nights in huts), starting point Koča pod slapom Rinka. Made 3 options, but still thinking which is best and which direction makes most sense. A bit worried that from Češka koča over Dolgi hrbet and Skuta to Okrešelj and to the waterfall (or reverse) might be too much walking for one day. Planned with thought to collect as many SPP stamps as possible (with partner). Well, attaching all 3 options and will be glad for any advice and time data needed for each day (if anyone wants to bother) Otherwise I know this is a bit off topic from Križ and current conditions, but maybe useful for someone 
OPTION 1
1. day - To Okrešelj, over Skuta and Dolgi hrbet to Češka koča (sleep)
2. day - Through gorge to Koča na Ledinah and to Velika Baba and back to hut to sleep
3. day - To Okrešelj over Rinke and to valley
OPTION 2
1. day - To Okrešelj and over Rinke to Koča na Ledinah
2. day - Over gorge to Češka koča and to Grintovec and back to Češka koča where sleep
3. day - From Češka koča over gorge to koča na Ledinah and to Okrešelj over Savinjsko sedlo and to valley
OPTION 3
1. day - From Koča pri slapu Rinka to Okrešelj and over Savinjsko sedlo to koča na Ledinah and over gorge to Češka koča (sleep)
2. day - Grintovec and back to Češka koča or over gorge to Koča na Ledinah, where sleep
3. day - Either to or from Koča na Ledinah to Koroška Rinka and descent to Okrešelj over Turski žleb and back to Koča pri slapu Rinka
@lozarbogdan thanks for your description - did the direction you did seem sensible or would reverse seem easier, more sensible?

Tatana...what if you changed option 3.
1. day: on the way to Češka koča you bag at least Ledinski vrh, if you have time also Babe
2. day: from Grintovec you go sleep in Cojzova at Kokrsko sedlo.
3. day: from Kokrsko say through Mala vratca over great fields to Štruca and Skuta, down and towards Turski žleb...

Tatana, maybe this one.... we did this in August 2011:
1. day: Rinka waterfall - Okrešelj - Križ (climbing route) - Kranjska Rinka - Štajerska Rinka - Mala Rinka - Turska gora - Brana - Kamniško sedlo (sleep)
2. day: Kamniško sedlo - Planjava - Lučka Brana - Ojstrica - Mala Ojstrica - Korošica (sleep)
3. day: Korošica - Lučki dedec - Škarje - Klemenča jama - Logarska dolina - starting point
Options for this route:
- since we have 1:45 drive to the starting point, we actually went in the afternoon one day before, climbed to Okrešelj and slept there... it was nice to lie longer in the morning and be already a couple of 100 m higher... of course then you sleep 3 times.
- third day... if there's still will and if you start early enough, you can also go to Krofičko...
In any case, in three days you visit 11 peaks higher than 2000 m...

If starting point is Okrešelj, maybe this proposal:
1. day: Okrešelj - Mrzla gora or Babe or Ledinski vrh - Vadine - Češka koča.
2. day: Češka koča - Jezerska Kočna - Grintovec - Cojzova koča.
3. day: Cojzova koča - Skuta - Rinke - Okrešelj.

@cjendaw going to Cojzova isn't bad idea either. You gave me more to think and plan about How much time from Češka koča via Grintovec to Cojzova (or reverse)? And from Grintovec to Jezerska Kočna is it far?
@PV your tour sounds interesting too, but maybe some other time.

It's best to go from Češka koča towards Grintovec and Kočna, after 2.5 hours you reach junction.
variant 1: Go to Jezerska Kočna (ca. half hour) return to junction and continue to Grintovec (about 45 min). Then descent from Grintovec to Cojzova koča 1.5 hours normal walk. So you visit both peaks.
Variant 2: First to Grintovec (ca 45 min) back to junction then to Jezerska Kočna (ca half hour). Then continue to Kokrška koča (less half hour). Then descent from Kokrška koča down (ca 1.5 hours) then over Ovnov čer to Cojzova koča. Over Ovnov čer ca 15 min ascent. Count on that.

Tatana- easiest to get impression if you look at descriptions of two routes to same mountain on this portal; so routes that arrive to summit from different ends. e.g. Ravenska Koča- Grintovec and Konec- Grintovec (over roof) at end of description usually it says how much from one to other "stage" goal. Then add up. That gives from Češka to Cojzova about 5 hours normalized. So you'll get used to looking at maps and read descriptions. Most reliable.
