Also for excellent pic, interesting and „with some content“, gotta be right time right place. Some for photo contest, or right cover.

@parenzo "you have to be in the right place at the right time." -> I completely agree, moments pass too quickly - I was lucky to catch this one mežikanje

I'm interested in the condition of the path to Koroška Rinka from Koča na Ledinah.
Is there still any snow or is it accessible without winter gear?
Path maintenance? Many comments mention that the cables and pegs are torn.
Thanks

I was in 2018 at the hut on Ledinah, there was a notice at the hut that the path is closed due to insufficient safety gear. And the path is still not arranged and open today?
This is already a bit shameful for the PD that manages it and PZS, since SPP runs along this path!

But it was important unnaturally and at all costs to route SPP through all huts in Grintovci...

Last year it was possible without problems, the path was ok.

The path is really normally passable, but it's quite a bit more "annoying" if you're descending it. Going up you don't even notice that protections are missing nasmeh

Hello,

Does anyone have current information from this path?

I have planned a circular path from Ravenske kočne to Ledin, further to Rink and then to Skuta, over long ridge to Ceske koce and back to starting point. Does anyone have experiences with this path? How much time does it take for a mountaineer in good condition?

Thanks.

No problems with good fitness and you'll have late afternoon or early evening dinner already at home if you're our citizen
Be careful, especially the ascent from Jezersko Saddle via the secured path to Križ. Some cable might need repairing, maybe they already have
Good luck

The path from Ledine to Koroška Rinka is open but not maintained, so on some sections the cable anchors are pulled out, but not to the point of being dangerous if careful. You'll need to watch more for rockfall, as there's tons on the path and it's hard to avoid, so watch those above you and protect those below you.

Interesting, as there's a notice at the upper cable car station and the hut at Ledine that the path is not closed, but not maintained. Info from last Sunday.

On Tuesday afternoon I park in Konec and rush via Žmavčarje to the bivouac under Skuta. My hopes for an empty bivouac are blown away by the wind when I hear voices near it already velik nasmeh
Around 4am I head to the summit. In the dark the already faded markings are even harder to see. Luckily lots of cairns along the way ease the ascent a lot. More in pics.
No peculiarities on the path, but strenuous over Žmavčarje. Seemed steeper down than up to me velik nasmeh
Nice greetings and good luck!

12.8.2021 Koroška Rinka
With my son we repeated this path after 11 years. I roam off-trail all the time, son in Spain for some years. As far as I remember, condition hasn't changed much. Even more protections damaged! For experienced no big issue. For many yes!
Despite the path from Jezersko being officially closed for years, it was well visited on Thursday. Most use self-belay kit where possible on this path. Last section just before summit is the most dangerous if many people in that broken gully. Almost impossible to climb those meters without triggering rocks down the gully.
We descended via Turski gully. One place cable/peg damaged, not too big obstacle.
To not walk marked all day, I ended with exploring Zadnji Okrešelj.
Nice sunny hot day. Plenty of visitors.
