Korošica via Šraj pesek and Najnar štant

I've crossed this jump 3x already, 2x up and 1x down, but in dry weather, without rope. In damp weather it'd be too hard without rope.

I usually descend here (long scree slope), up via Presedljaj. I too, years ago, didn't know the easiest descent route, took my time and discovered nearby a variant of easy grade 2 where no rope is needed. Detailed description and photos on previous page.

Today up via Najnar štant, descent via Skok. Fog was a bit higher, some snowflakes hit me under a cloudy sky anyway. While some tracks are visible via Skok, none via Najnar štant. Really solitary path. Regards

garmont I looked at your tour from 22.11.2012. Is the entry to that passage here?

That should be it. Anyway I described this approach nicely back then too. Difficulties don't exceed grade 1 (if you stick to the left side in the ascent direction).

On Friday from Šraj pesek up the right side of the gully directly to the top of Vežica. Until the entry to the ridge a few meters before the summit, I stuck to the inner side of the gully. photos: http://imgur.com/a/MxMUA

Via Skok or above it via Najnar štant?

If I understood the question right, both paths via Skok and via Štant lead to Šraj pesek; this time I took the latter.

Hi! On Saturday during retreat from Vežica wall due to rain I lost my Petzl hammer, it's on an auxiliary cord with a small BD krab. If anyone happened to find it, I'd be very happy to see it again. Yesterday afternoon I went under Vežica but it wasn't there - maybe one of Sunday's parties saw it? It should be somewhere below or left of Geršak - Grčar route. Urban

Today past Orglice and over Skok and up the gully in Vršiči to Vežica. Descent down grassy gully and through bushes almost directly to Presedljaj, from where I descended to the start. Cold and very windy. Skok is slightly damp and uncomfortable in winter boots and gloves.

Isn't it? Thanks for the gully idea. It was planned longer ago and longer, but... Next time when the wind is more merciful

The title of my trip doesn't fit best, but I won't open a new thread. It could be called: Ojstrica via Šraj Pesek and Petkove Njive. This goal and path is my favorite destination, so yesterday my mountain friend and I decided to visit it. Despite Sunday and relatively late hour, only three cars parked 'Pred Belo'. In the morning chill we enjoy the walk and instead of turning left at the Orglice sign, we turn at the second junction, so we unnecessarily descend about 60m before we're on the path to Skok.(and I've been here so many times ) It came quickly, but stopped us, as the lower part of the rock was wet in places. Without hesitation we take the alternative and bypass it on the left side, where the direction is already very familiar to me. At the top I greet my hanging stone, which just persists and persists. Being curious, I went to check the top of the jump, how the belay is and saw that the upper part of Skok is completely dry. Immediately I regretted that we went the 'detour'. The Šraj Pesek scree as always pulls, and above us in the Vežica wall we observed two young climbers. Much higher we could hear two more, but didn't see them. Short walk across Petkove Njive, a bit of ascent and some zigzags through bushes and we're at the burned hut. Nearby there are three containers connected with a single roof, which isn't covered yet. The stamp box is also under roof. Approach to Ojstrica along the ridge, which offers a lot of pleasure in easy scrambling. But already in the lower part there's one more demanding pitch - big, already quite loose flake and when it falls down, the difficulty there will be a solid III. At the top there were many people, but not from our direction, as they like to drive to Planinšek, Podvežak or planina Ravne. Weather was quite unstable, so we rather chose classic descent over Presedljaj. The camera was already on the last leg in 'red', so fewer pics than usual. I heartily hope that the construction of the new hut will start as soon as possible and there I greet the super warden Mojca.

Today the plan was Lučki Dedec and then to Korosica via Najnar Štant. Plan and final picture aren't always aligned and so it was today. In the morning I start from in front of Bela and quickly I'm at the junction for Najnar Štant. The path ahead is nicely visible and steeply ascends in switchbacks on quite grassy slope. The ticks were happy for the visit, which is really rare in this end of the valley The viper was more scared of me than I of it, but I'd lie if I said I didn't jump Just before reaching Najnar Štant fallen trees obscure the path a bit and I climb higher on rocks to check with a view down where the path goes next. The view revealed clear continuation all the way to the stant, where there's really wonderful panorama. The path ahead descends a bit and gets lost and when I reach the next orientation point rocks with caves I completely lose the path. I walk the streambed, cross on game trails up and down, left and right, until on 250 m² I do almost 300 height meters At that point every trace looked like a path and the desire to continue would pull me onto them and I said to myself: enough. Obviously I'll have to come again. Completely pissed I take a breath and take Habjan in hands again and read the description for the 10th time... Did I accidentally misinterpret it? Of course I did! I go back to the last (they're very rare) cairn and try again, already completely exhausted and barely find the continuation. But I said to myself, looking at the watch and the considerable shortage (otherwise not modest) of water supplies, which my slope exploration on this hot day considerably reduced, that I'll go further another time. When I'd be highest, it would be hottest and no water around. Now I know where next and I can hardly wait to repeat the tour and complete it. Still I try to use the day considering the remaining water and return to the marked path, drink a bit and cool off, jump to Presedljaj so legs tire too and not just the head On the way back I cooled off in the moderately warm Orglice pool, which today recorded a visit worthy of Peričnik Considering how many people rushed to the pool and in what footwear, good that nothing happened to anyone. But we know, everything for the pic, right? Safe steps, Ben
