From Robanov Kot over Črni Hriber to Krofička

Hi, Rok. Nicely written and the photos are wonderful too. We met at Movznik and shared enthusiasm for this magical world. Shame Zoran wasn't there too, we could have met (almost) on eagle's wings. 
I haven't gone over Hriber yet; for the approach to the Krofička summit (supposedly) you need to go left into the gully above Črni hrib and directly up it to the top.
Maybe geppo will hint at something? Good luck!

Hi biba, also in the virtual world! Črni hriber is big and there are many options; too brave up there I wasn't. In the description everything is simpler than on the terrain, which up there is demanding. But if I don't get to the end neither the first nor the second time, I'll try again and again I'm also counting on geppo having some suggestion!

Via the gully?
Definitely nicer even more to the left along the traverse path and then up the well-featured ridge. Here and there some pines.

Just like Drago wrote. To the left find the path and a bit before the start of the Covnik meadows up the gully or the ridge. To the meadows. Then need to find the path leading to Škrbina. That's harder and also hard to put the description together so you can follow it. Once on the path, it's traceable. Don't know where the gully branches off from that path, by which you could climb to the top of Krofička. I never used a gully for the approach by which you climb to the top of Krofička!!

My yesterday's experience too. I just wanted to repeat what I hiked long ago in 2006. I pushed through, but it wasn't ideal at all. Too far right and too high I reached the meadows, not to mention the tough traverse that's not for repeating.
I know the start and to point 0026 (path left around the edge, which you ignore per Stritar) it went without problem. Also another 100m up to point 0027, where I figured left up should be passable (sawed scrub - Stritar), right is path to Utam, where I was turned back before. Didn't find the crossing, so continued right a bit and reached the spot @rok.si mentions here (4th pic of his post 1.7.2018). There I decided to go steeply up left (point 0028 already in grass). First through grass then up the gully almost to its head. There were traces that didn't seem just from wildlife. If the gully at the end is passable I don't know, turned left earlier because it seemed too much towards Ut. Traverse to Meadows was an adventure of its own and I don't recommend it. Mainly steep rocks and impassable scrub.
On the Meadows themselves it was easier then. Saw cut visible from afar for orientation. Mostly caught the path and followed it around Krofička (view to Škrbina opens) and then at suitable spot right up the edge to the top. That loop just below the top was the last exploration, turned back because of the dog.
Wondering if any expert can tell from pics where I failed?

Up the little gully or chute you climb the last 100m to C. meadows. Before that, a traverse to the left. Once you catch it, you'll follow it. If you found the path further on, you'll find this too!!!

Will have to go up there again and find the scree from your pic. Mine were much steeper.
For the gully, now at home it seems to me too that one could reach Covnik meadows. Are the problems at the end bigger than before?

On Saturday we decided to try over Črni Hriber directly to Krofička. After the initial warm-up to Robanova planina, it plunges steeply into the slope. Since the companion already knows these areas well, we easily found the start of the path and followed it to the "junction", where you go right to the bivouac under Utami. There we found the passage to the left, which is poorly visible for the first few meters, then well trodden. It brought us to Covnik meadows. From there we traversed further to the left to the gully falling from under Krofička. Left of the gully we found passages through the scrub, so we climbed parallel to the gully. Then traces of the "path" led us into the gully. Up it to where it starts to close. Here the description led us back to the left, where we encountered dense scrub, so we continued traversing to the left until we reached easier terrain (read: less vegetated), and from there to the top. We descended via the marked path to Klemenča jama and on to Plesnik.
Nice tour on steep terrain, where a good sense of orientation is very useful.

Nice job finding the secret passage. Congratulations from me too. It was close, we could have met, but then Debeli vrh prevailed. So my makeup exam is still waiting.
The gully might be filled with avalanche debris from the spring.

Congratulations, Journeyman and Rozka, you're better pathfinders than me! And bravo to Pastirica for the courage needed when scrambling in that solitude! I preferred to turn towards Utam.
For the makeup exam that still awaits me too, I'd rather choose autumn when temperatures are more pleasant. Some instructions beforehand won't hurt

Rozi, I don't quite get it.
Didn't you reach Krofička summit via the hunters' path from Zadnji travnik, which completely avoids the gully except right under the summit where you cross it…
